Eric Goldman is an Assistant Professor of Law and Director of the High Tech Law Institute at Santa Clara University School of Law. Before he became a full-time academic, he practiced Internet law for
8 years in the Silicon Valley. He teaches Cyberspace Law and Intellectual Property, and his research focuses on Internet and marketing law topics such as search engines, spam and adware. He blogs on Internet law topics at the Technology and Marketing Law Blog.

Michael graduated from Santa Clara Law in May, 2008. At SCU he served as Vice President of the Environmental Legal Society and was an associate on the Computer and High Tech Law Journal. He is currently studying for the bar and plans to work in IP litigation upon graduation. Michael graduated Magna Cum Laude from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies) with a B.A. in History.

Erik is a 2008 Santa Clara Law graduate, and manages the TLF website. At SCU he served as a High Tech Law Institute Fellow. Prior to entering law school, he provided web development strategy consulting and development services for a variety of Silicon Valley and national clients. He also served as the first full-time webmaster at the Corporation for National and Community Service and was a contract technical analyst at DARPA. A graduate of the University of California at Davis, Erik served as a U.S. Army officer before moving into the technology field. He is currently starting a new business and can be found online at EJSchmidt.com.

Mark is a May, 2008 Santa Clara Law graduate. He holds a degree in Optical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology and certificates in Semiconductor and Material Devices and Consulting Engineering. Mark served on the Santa Clara Law Review and was the Treasurer for the Intellectual Property Association. He is currently studying for the bar and works at Cooley Godward Kronish in the IP Litigation department.
